Crawler rules are interpreted carefully. OAI-SearchBot is scored for ChatGPT search readiness. GPTBot, ChatGPT-User and Google-Extended have different purposes, so they are not treated as search-ranking signals.

Readiness,
not promises.

AIReachCheck measures observable technical, structural and content signals that affect how readily automated systems can access and understand a website.

It does not query a secret ranking, measure every page or guarantee that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or any other system will cite or recommend a business.

AI visibility, without the fog.

What does the AI Reach Score measure?

It is a 0–100 readiness score based on observable signals on the page we scan: access, business identity, content structure, trust and technical foundations. It is not a platform ranking.

Does this check ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity rankings?

No. Those platforms do not provide a universal public ranking feed. AIReachCheck measures whether a website is technically accessible and understandable, without pretending to know where it ranks inside a third-party answer.

Why is OAI-SearchBot scored but GPTBot is not?

OpenAI documents OAI-SearchBot as the crawler used to surface websites in ChatGPT search results. GPTBot relates to foundation-model training, so its robots.txt setting is reported for context but does not change this search-readiness score.

Does a high score guarantee AI recommendations?

No. AI systems use many changing signals beyond a website. A high score means the observable foundations are strong; it cannot guarantee a citation, mention or recommendation.
