Who is responsible for your information

AIReachCheck is operated by Scott Baker trading as AIReachCheck, based in England, United Kingdom. Scott Baker is the data controller for information submitted through this service.

Information used for website checks

When you submit a website address, AIReachCheck requests its publicly accessible homepage and a small set of public support files needed for the analysis. The submitted address and page contents are used to produce the result shown to you. They are not added to the lead database unless you separately request an Initial Improvement Summary.

For security and rate limiting, the service may use your IP address temporarily in server memory for approximately ten minutes. It is not added to the lead database by AIReachCheck. Our hosting provider may also process ordinary request and security information when delivering the service.

Information used for summary requests

If you request a summary, we store your name, email address, optional company name, checked website, scan score and findings, draft summary, consent time, request status and unique reference. We use this information to record your request, prepare the summary, contact you about it and protect the service from misuse.

We rely on your consent to record and respond to an Initial Improvement Summary request. We rely on our legitimate interests to provide the requested checker, keep the service secure and prevent misuse. You may withdraw consent at any time, although this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Who receives the information

Cloudflare provides the website hosting and protected database, and Resend provides transactional email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to supply those services. The public website you ask us to check will receive an ordinary web request and may record it under its own privacy practices.

We do not sell submitted contact details. We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Retention and security

Initial-summary enquiries are normally deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. Information may be removed sooner when it is no longer needed. If an enquiry becomes a paid engagement, essential transaction and accounting records may be kept for the longer period required by law.

Lead records are held in a protected database and access is restricted to the operator. No internet service is completely secure, but reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent. Email scotee04@yahoo.co.uk to make a request.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Please contact us first if you are comfortable doing so, as we would like the opportunity to resolve the issue.

Cookies and automated decisions

AIReachCheck does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The automated score is an informational assessment of public website signals; it is not used to make a decision about you that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
